KUCHARSKI, Edward Walter Age 79 of Union, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 22, 2006. He was one of 14 children born to the late Joseph and Helen Kucharski. Ed had retired after 35 years from the McCaulley Corporation. He was a member of Transfiguration Catholic Church in West Milton and also attended the West Milton Church of the Nazarene. Ed was a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he was a cook, a member of the V.F.W. Post 5434 in Union, the Men's Auxillary of V.F.W. Post 8211 in West Milton, the Grandfathers Club Chapter 1 Cloudy Boys and the Union Horseshoe Club for 24 years and the Darke County Horseshoe Club. He is survived by his sons: Joseph Kucharski of Union, Charles Kucharski and wife Terry, their children: Catherine and Stephen of Cincinnati, daughters: Christine Manning of Dayton, Kathleen Kucharski and her children: Nicholas and Christopher from FL, son: Edward Kucharski of West Milton and his children: Erika Kucharski of Carlisle, McKinley Kucharski of Troy and great grandson: Eli Kucharski, son: Paul Kucharski and wife: Veronica and their children: Brittany, Mikaela, Sam, Alex, Ben, Nathaniel all from Australia, mother-in-law: Margaret Ferraro of Dayton, girlfriend: Dottie Foster of West Milton and her children and grandchildren. Also survived by his brothers: Joe Kucharsky of Trotwood, Ben Kucharski of Northridge, sisters: Anna Cornelius of CA, Alice Weidle of Kettering, Sophie Gemza of Dayton, Liz Riviello of Huber Heights, sister- in-law: Dorothy Kucharski of Dayton, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. He was preceded in death by his wife: Antoinette Francis Kucharski of 53 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2006 at the Transfiguration Catholic Church (972 S. Miami St., West Milton) with Father John MacQuarrie as celebrant. Interment will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood) where prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, prior to Mass.
